Meet the Team

Our staff team is managed by two Early Years Teachers; we have highly qualified practitioners who are skilled and experienced in early years teaching and are dedicated to providing the very best experiences for your child.


K2 Crawley Nursery staff Nicky

Our Setting Manager is Nicky who is a qualified Early Years Teacher, which is a post degree qualification. Working Tuesday-Thursday, she leads the team in all aspects of the pre-school as well as managing the business side of everything involved with the day-to-day running of the setting alongside the owners.



Aiden is our Deputy Manager and computer wizard, he is often called upon to sort out one problem or another, and not just when it comes to IT! Aiden has a Post Graduate Certificate in Early Years Education as well as Early Years Teacher Status. He enjoys messy play as he believes this is a very therapeutic way for the children to explore the world around them.



Emma has the role of senior practitioner in the 2 year room . She is also the Early Years Foundation Stage Co-ordinator, supporting the team with the learning and development of the children. She loves to get messy; offering body painting, mud and all manor of activities to the children because she believes in the importance of these sensory experiences. Emma is level 4 qualified. 



Andrea is our Room Based Deputy Manager here at K2 Pre-School Academy, leading the staff team and children within our Pre-School room. Andrea holds a BA Hons degree in Early Childhood Studies and has been working in the industry for many years. Andrea loves spending time with the children singing songs and rhymes so the children excel with their literacy skills.



Liane is a level 3 qualified senior practitioner in the 2 year room. She is a kind hearted member of the team who is always thinking of fun new ideas for the children. 

Liane also takes on the role of SENCO (special educational needs coordinator) alongside our Deputy Aiden.



Sophie is a senior practitioner in the preschool room. Holding a level 3 qualification Sophie is very experienced member of the team. Sophie is the class clown; always making the children and her fellow staff members laugh and is loved by all.



Debbie works across all areas of the setting. Debbie has been part of the team from the outset of the nursery. She brings a fantastic energy to children and other members of the team. Debbie is a qualified level 3 practitioner and can often be found having her hair done in the home corner or dancing to one of our favourite songs; 'Elephants Have Wrinkles'.



Paige works with all age groups at the setting. Paige has a very calming influence on the children and diligently goes about her work. Paige is a level 2 qualified practitioner.



Kathleen is based predominantly in the baby and 2 year room and is qualified to level 3.  In her spare time Kathleen enjoys baking, often bringing delicious cakes in to share with the rest of the team.



Kay holds a level 3 qualification.  She brings ideas from her experience at various settings to enrich the provision at the setting in new and exciting ways. Kay can often be found in the book corner reading with the children. She also enjoys the craft area helping children with their creations. 



Karen is our newest member of the team. She is qualified to Level 3 and provides the children with enriching ideas and lovely activities that reflect the breadth of her experience. She has a very calming influence on the children and staff team.



Louise holds a level 3 qualification and is based in the pre-school room. She is very fun and creative, offering lots of fantastic ideas and new experiences for the children and staff alike.



Sadia is our Bank member of staff who regularly joins us in the setting. Sadia is currently working towards her level 2 qualification at college alongside working in the pre-school.

Karen and Jackie

Karen and Jackie are the owners of K2 Pre-School Academy.

They manage the day-to-day running of the setting alongside Nicky and Aiden.
